Planeta Frappato di Vittoria ist eine seltene exklusive Rebsorte, die auf nur wenigen Hektar im roten Sandboden um Vittoria in unmittelbarer Nähe vom Meer angebaut wird. Frappato ist eine sehr spätreifende Rebsorte, die sprichwörtlich noch die letzten Sonnenstrahlen einfängt. Sie ergibt sehr komplexe, charaktervolle und ausdruckstarke Rotweine.
Frappato ist ein sehr angenehmer und aromatischer Rotwein, der zudem eine perfekte Symbiose zwischen alter Tradition und moderner Innovation bildet.
Bright red. Multidimensional, explosively perfumed nose combines raspberry, sour red cherry, rose petal, violet, minerals and cinnamon. Silky on entry, then brightly saline, offering vibrant, focused red berry, cherry and mineral flavors. Perfectly integrated acidity and seamless tannins give this sappy wine outstanding thrust on the extremely long, floral finish. This delightful wine is so good it literally goes down like water. Red berry, rose and clove are some of the aromas you'll find on this bright, supple red. The smooth palate offers juicy black cherry, crushed strawberry and white pepper alongside fresh acidity.
